EUGENE L. OCHOCKI SCHOLARSHIPS

One component of the New Hampshire Federal Executive Association's (NHFEA) mission is its presentation of annual scholarships. Each year, NHFEA presents Eugene L. Ochocki college scholarships to federal employees and/or their spouses and family members.  At least one scholarship is annually awarded to a federal employee.

The annual recognition luncheon was held on May 11, 2011, at the Portsmouth Elks, 500 Jones Avenue, Portsmouth, NH, to celebrate the achievements of this year's scholarship winners.

Mr. Ochocki was a former Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Manchester, NH, and a former President of the NHFEA. It was his vision that lead to the NHFEA expanding beyond the awards to include scholarships being presented during Public Service Recognition Week. The scholarships are named in his honor.

The 2011 scholarship winners were:

Congratulations to all of this year's scholarship winners! We're very proud of all of you. And, we were delighted that Chrisinda Lynch and Christopher Wilbar could join us on the infield of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats game on June 25th. They were publicly recognized as two of the five NHFEA Scholarship Winners for 2011! Enjoy the photo from the game!
